Zepto's business model is powered by a network of strategically positioned dark stores that brings products closer to consumers and enables rapid order fulfilment.
Zepto has achieved significant scale across India, with 1,139 dark stores operating across 66 cities as of March 2026. The company served approximately 4.79 crore annual transacting users and processed around 64 crore orders during FY2026. With its strong technology infrastructure, expanding store network and focus on customer convenience, Zepto continues to play a significant role in India's rapidly growing quick-commerce sector.
Property Rent: The property rent for the store will be paid directly by Zepto.
Electricity: Electricity bills for the store will be paid by Zepto.
Delivery Personnel: Hiring expenses and salaries of delivery personnel will be directly borne and paid by Zepto.
Store Manager Support : Zepto will provide a highly qualified, experienced and trained Store manager who will be deployed at the Franchise Store to support day-today operations. The Store Manager's hiring, training and salary will be completely managed by and borne by Zepto.
In-Store Manpower: The Franchise will be responsible for hiring the required in-store manpower, including Pickers, Packers, Shift In-Charges, Security Guards and Housekeeping staff. The Franchise will initially pay the salaries of the in-store manpower, and Zepto will reimburse the eligible salary expenses paid by the Franchise, as per the applicable commercial terms and approved manpower structure.
Property Details : 3,500 - 4,000 sq. ft. space is required for setting up a Zepto Dark Store, Subject to location requirements. If Franchise does not have its own property, Zepto can assist with identifying the ideal location, property sourcing, location evaluation, and finalization as per applicable criteria.
